My photography journey started in 2011 at Beirut.com, one of the leading websites in Lebanon covering social events and nightlife. After some time, I began working at Mondanite magazine and Beirutnightlife, which gave me the chance to go all over the country and gain a great experience of shooting people in such spaces and light.

I then got the opportunity to work at Elnashra newspaper as a photojournalist in 2012 after many events started happening in the country. This was another great experience in a total different field of photography.

After a few years of doing this and getting exposed to more and more photographers, I felt a great interest in documentary. I think, what it was exactly that caught my interest is the moment. I thought that every photograph I am taking is a documentation of a moment that is very unique to me, and which otherwise just pass. That was a beginning of a whole different photography path for me. I started traveling and with that came the opportunities to work on several projects with worldwide magazines and publications.

In addition to the participation in several exhibitions that covered different concepts and winning different places in several competitions (not first yet), I am currently working on publishing my first book that documents corner shops in Lebanon.

I also started exploring working with moving imagery, and in 2017, I worked as a video camera operator on a couple of feature documentaries and produced short campaign videos for several organizations and NGO’s. One of the documentaries won a prize in Cannes.
